From Pro Athlete to Business Builder: The Relentless Pursuit of Success

Some people wait for opportunities. I create them.

At 8 years old, I set a vision-to play lacrosse at Syracuse University, one of the most prestigious programs in the sport. Ten years later, I made it happen. Ranked the #2 recruit in the world, I started my career at Syracuse before transferring to St. John’s University, where I became an All-American and finished Top 10 in NCAA Division 1 points for two consecutive seasons.
In 2016, that same relentless drive led to me being drafted into Major League Lacrosse, where I played professionally for three seasons, competing at the highest level l- while already building my first business.

A former professional athlete turned entrepreneur, Eric DeJohn transitioned from high-level competition to high-stakes business. With years of experience in high-performance industries, he has built and scaled ventures generating over eight figures in sales across multiple sectors. Eric applies the same relentless mindset, discipline, and execution that defined his athletic career to business and long-term success. His focus is on massive action, strategy, and persistence-knowing that the right combination of reps, refinement, and obsession leads to mastery.

But I wasn’t just an athlete-I was already thinking like an entrepreneur, running lacrosse camps and clinics in Tampa, FL while still competing professionally.
In 2019, I shifted my focus entirely to business, carrying the same championship mindset into sales and entrepreneurship. Since then, I’ve personally generated over $10M in sales across the solar and insurance industries, building and leading high-performing sales teams, training others to close at an elite level, and helping businesses scale with proven systems.
But success has never been just about money- it’s about legacy, impact, and freedom.
I’m building something that lasts beyond me- for generational wealth, for the people around me, and for those who refuse to settle for average. It’s about creating opportunities, scaling businesses, and helping others win along the way.
